CASSAVA PONE

A Caribbean inspired treat , that takes you back to paradise island.

Steps:

Pre heat oven 350 degrees F
In a large mixing bowl, mix the grated cassava with butter, sugar and spices.
Whisk until smooth, add grated coconut and milk.
Mixed all the ingredients into a batter, pour equally into a greased muffin or baking pan.
Bake in pre heat over for approximately 40-50 minutes.
Cool completely then serve.
You can add fruits, ice-cream as a serving option.

Ingredients:

Fresh Grated Cassava: 2lbs
Cinnamon: 1 teaspoon
Nutmeg: ½ teaspoon
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Grated coconut :1
Brown Sugar: 1 ½ cup
Butter :150 g melted
Almond Milk or your choice :1 cup
